What is the meaning of Fengchi
Fengchi:”Feng”,refers to the substance of this point is wind-qi of the heaven. “Chi”,pool,refers to the substance of this points is rich in dampness. The name of “Fengchi” means that the Qi of Gallbladder Meridian are transformed into hot yang-qi here. The substance of this point is the dampness-qi from GB 19(Naokong) point. After reaching this point, the dampness-qi due to external heat expands and transforms into hot yang-qi, and transport to various part of head and neck, hence the name.
