GB 21 Acupuncture Point(Jianjing) belongs to the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang,which is commonly used to treat soft tissue diseases of the shoulder and neck, mastitis and so on. Puncture 0.3 to 0.5 cun straight,Not allowed to puncture deeply.
GB 21 Acupuncture Point Location
On the shoulder directly above the nipple at the midpoint of a line connecting GV 14 and the acromion at the highest point of the shoulder.

What is the meaning of Jianjing
Jianjing:”Jian”,shoulder, the point is on the shoulder. “Jing”,pore of the ground.The name of “Jianjing” point means that the ground water of Gallbladder Meridian flows into the lower part of the ground. The substance of this point is the ground meridian water that descends from the upper meridian of Gall bladder meridian. After reaching this point, the meridian water flows into the lower part of the ground from the ground pores of this point,hence the name.

GB 21 Acupuncture Point Therapy
Method of Massage GB 21
1. Use the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger of your right hand to massage GB 21 on your left shoulder, press firmly for 5 seconds, then slowly release it, repeat t10 times and then change your left hand.
2. Use the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger of the left hand to massage GB 21 on the right shoulder, still repeating ten times.
Noted: pregnant not allowed to massage GB 21, it is easy to cause miscarriage.
For mastitis
Use the middle fingers of both hands to firmly press GB 21 for 3 minutes; then fully flex the elbow and press Quchi acupoint with the pad of the thumb for 1 minute; finally, knead Hegu acupoint for 1 minute,which can relieve mastitis if long-term massage it;

Compatibility of GB 21 Point
Combined with Jianyu, Tianzong point to treat shoulder and back pain;
Combined with Rugen, Shaoze point to treat mastitis, oligogalactia;
Combined with Zusanli and Yanglingquan point to treat athlete’s foot;
