What is the meaning of Lingxu
“Lingxu”:”Ling” refers to the qi of heaven.”Xu”,refers to mounds or ruins of the old city,means the emptiness of material in the point. The substance of this point is very little dampness-qi from the Shenfeng point. After reaching this, it will evaporate and go upwards due to absorbing heat,the qi in the point is like ruins, hence the name.
What is Lingxu acupoint used for
Indications: chest tightness, chest pain, cough and wheezing, excessive phlegm,acute mastitis, vomiting, loss of appetite,bronchitis, pleurisy, intercostal neuralgia, etc.
Lingxu acupoint therapy
For appetite
Scrape the Lingxu acupoints from top to bottom across the clothes for 5-10 times each time.It can treat cough due to wind-cold evil,improve immunity, improve digestion and increase appetite if long-term massage.
For chest pain, asthma, and insomnia
Pressing the Lingxu point with your thumb for about 200 times, or pressing and rubbing for 3 to 5 minutes,it can treat chest pain, asthma, and insomnia.
