ST 2 Acupuncture Point(Sibai) belongs to the Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming,which is commonly used for swelling and pain of eyes, nephelium, eyelid movement, facial paralysis, headache and dizziness, puncture 0.3 to 0.5 cun straight or oblique.

What is the meaning of Sibai
Sibai:”Si”,Four,refers to all directions, and also the surrounding space where this point is located. “Bai”,white,the color of lung. The name of “Sibai” means that the water of Stomach Meridian quickly become the Qi of the heaven here. The substance of this point is the meridian water with warm from ST 1(Chengqi ) point. When it flows to ST 2(Sibai), it quickly vaporizes in this point due to absorbing the heat of spleen soil, and the Qi filled with the surrounding,hence the name.

Swelling and pain of eyes, nephelium, eyelid movement, facial paralysis, headache and dizziness;

ST 2 Acupuncture Point Therapy
For relieve facial paralysis
First press Yangbai acupoint for 5 seconds, then massage Dicang acupoint for 5 seconds, then massage ST 2(Sibai) acupoint for 1 minute, and finally press Jiache acupoint and Hegu acupoint for 5 seconds,which can relieve facial paralysis if long-term massage it;
For improve vision
Press and rub ST 2(Sibai) acupoints with the pad of index finger for 100 times, it can improve vision and prevent from eye diseases if long-term massage it;(put the tips of index fingers of both hands at Sibai acupoints on both sides, and knead each point in clockwise and counterclockwise directions 8 to 12 times ).
For relieve facial spasm
scrape ST 2(Sibai) points from inside to outside, which can relieve facial spasm if long-term massage it.

Combined with Lianquan and Chengjiang point to facial paralysis.
Combined with Yangbai, Dicang, Jiache and Hegu points to treat acial paralysis.
Combined with Cuanzhu point to treat eyelid tremulous.
Combined with Yongquan, Dazhu point to headache.
Combined with Jiache,Cuanzhu, and Temple to treat keratitis.
