What is the meaning of Yifeng
Yifeng:Yi,shelter made of feathers,refers to the Yang-Qi of the heaven. Feng,wind,the Qi of this point is like wind. The name of “Yifeng” means that the Qi of San Jiao Meridian transforms into the Yang-qi of the heaven. The substance of this acupoint is the hot wind-qi from SJ 16(Tianyong) point. After reaching this acupoint,the hot wind-qi is weak and slowly turns into the Qi of Wei Wai of the heaven, and the Yang-qi of Wei Wai is transferred from the point to the head by wind-qi,hence the name.

Massage therapy
Gently rub and press SJ 17(Yifeng) points with the pad of middle finger for 3 to 5 minutes each time,It can improve hearing, dredge facial meridians, and prevent from swollen cheeks and facial paralysis if long-term massage it.
Moxibustion therapy
Moxa moxibustion on SJ17(Yifeng) point for 5 to 10 minutes, or 3 to 5 unit.
