What is the meaning of Chongyang
Chongyang:”Chong”,surging. “Yang”, Yang-Qi. The name of “Chongyang” means that the ground water turn into yang-qi and surge to the heaven. The substance of this point is the meridian water from ST 41 (Jiexi) point. Since the diversion of ST 41, the meridian water passing to this point is relatively scarce. The meridian water is gasified due to the heat of spleen soil and surge to the heaven,hence the name.
